On March 19, 1934, the carpenter Josef Müller opened the scaffolding rental company “Gerüstbau Müller”
2026
Gerüstbau Müller GmbH is run in the 3rd generation by Wolfgang Müller
The Müller company mourns the death of its senior manager and company founder.
Since then, the company has been run by his sole heirs, Dipl.-Ing. Herbert Müller, with its current location in Niederkassel.
Five years after German reunification, the company became involved in Leipzig and thus became active in the new federal states.
On 02.04.2011, Mr. Dipl. Ing. Herbert Müller passed away at the age of only † 75 years.

1934 Opening
Scaffolding Rental Company - Müller
1970 - Rebranding
After the war, the company grew rapidly, boosted by the reconstruction.
In 1970, Gerüstbau Müller, Josef Müller, Cologne, was registered. The number of employees at that time was already 65.
1972 - Establishment of a corporation
The company is converted into a corporation under the name Gerüstbau Josef Müller GmbH & Co. In addition to the company founder Josef Müller, his son Dipl.-Ing. Herbert Müller became a shareholder and managing director.
1975 - Conversion
The complete conversion to steel scaffolding took place.
Five years later, Gerüstbau Müller GmbH began with bridge construction.
1981 - Handover
Dipl.-Ing. Herbert Müller, son of the founder Josef Müller, takes over Gerüstbau Josef Müller GmbH & Co.
2001 - Rebranding
Gerüstbau Josef Müller GmbH & Co. became Gerüstbau Müller GmbH, managed by Mrs. Marion Ihmig and Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Herbert Müller
2011 - Entry of the 3rd generation
Gerüstbau Müller GmbH managed by the son Mr. Wolfgang Müller.

Material Update – the largest modernization measure in the history of Gerüstbau Müller. Stock increased to 250,000 m².
2026 - Today

Flexibility and the latest technology enable us to offer individual planning even for extraordinary objects. Regardless of the changing times, the management of Gerüstbau Müller remains traditional. Thus, in the future, the company will be managed in the 3rd generation by the son, Mr. Wolfgang Müller.
Wolfgang Müller has been running the business since 2010. Mr. André Koll joined in 2010 and has since been working as technical manager. Mr. Koll has a degree in civil engineering (Bachelor) and is a trained roofer. Melanie Theis and Mrs. Roman Ochoa took over the office management in 2022. The standards of yesterday still have the same value today. Gerüstbau Müller GmbH is always a competent partner and helps you reliably with your projects. The company has been further modernized in the years 2010 to today. Here, for example, highly modern 3-D programs such as Trimble Sketchup and Scaffmax are used professionally and a 3D view of the upcoming project is created before the order begins. This customized drawing including electronic loading list is then made available to the foreman, which considerably facilitates the construction for him.
The future of scaffolding will change dramatically, and we too will adapt to the new ecological guidelines. We have started to replace all vehicles. Other projects will follow!
