We resumed the scaffolding work at the airport on 1 February 2025, and work on the high ceiling will continue throughout 2026. We are again using special aluminium I-beam constructions and are currently erecting platform scaffolding across the whole of Terminal 1 at Cologne Bonn Airport.

The scaffolding work around Cologne Bonn Airport ran from 2017 through to the end of 2023. It was a considerable challenge for us, involving an elaborate 11-metre aluminium beam construction by RUX. This custom construction was installed suspended beneath the roof at Terminal 1. Throughout the project our experienced scaffolders made sure that work on the buildings and terminals could be carried out safely. By using state-of-the-art scaffolding systems we deliver construction projects efficiently and on schedule.
